Bright and early, or should I say dark and early. Here we go. Meet at Veteran’s Park by 5:30am. We will start then so warm-up before hand.
The Trail is a 5k run. Most of you have run it before. We are going to add a little twist to the mix.
The WOD:
Start with 20 burpees
At the 1k mark do 20 squats and 20 push-ups
2k mark do 20 burpees
3k mark do 20 squats and 20 push-ups
4k mark do 20 burpees
finish with a sprint to the finish line
Scale as needed
A couple of notes.
1. This is a trial/ experimental run. Lets see what happens.
2. We are experimenting with a endurance run with the fitness component for a future fundraising/ charity event to raise money for the Lupus Foundation.
3. I need to see if it is too hard or light and how I should modify it.
